Defending Every Right to Be Heard
Melting Pot Event on Greenway in Luray

In the south we have a saying “what you don’t talk about just don’t exist.” In our mountain valley we know that “good fences make good neighbors.”

And yet sometimes that just doesn’t cut it. UPva is committed to stopping all forms of discrimination. We live here, we pay taxes, own businesses, support causes, work, volunteer at churches; we quietly improve every facet of community life. Collectively we wish to work together to lift every person, and we are committed to defending every right to be.
