Unite Page Virginia was born because a group of LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bi, transgender, queer) folks wanted to know each other and have some fun. But we quickly realized we could do more.
We collectively shared times when we could have used a kind word or path toward something better. We know our way around this county and we know there are people who care and want to be helpful. So we gathered our resources and are happy to share them with you.
COMING OUT
Coming out is never easy, but if you talk with a member of the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bi, transgender, queer) community you will find it’s often easier than you have guessed it to be. Family, friends, neighbors and your social network will all have to meet you again as you find your true self.
